We take every step possible to protect your account —from implementing industry-leading practices, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and encryption to help protect your videos, to engaging with multiple data-protection technologies to recognize any ongoing security threats

We believe in total transparency with our privacy settings, and in letting parents take the lead on deciding how they wish to protect their families. One way we do this is by letting you choose how long your videos are stored in the Nanit cloud
How we make it happen
Nanit's two-step verification process is required, taking your protection beyond a single password and adding an additional layer of security to the login process
Our camera’s built-in technology prevents your videos from being accessed by an outside source; it can only be pushed through our secure servers. Additionally, we ensure that the connection between our servers to your device is also secure
Nanit doesn't allow connections to open unsecure networks. In fact, we take this one step further, using 256-bit AES encryption, the most secure encryption method possible to keep your data safe (compared to other monitors, which use 128-bit encryption)
We trust you to make your own decisions about the level of access you wish to grant other people in your baby’s life—and make it easy to update or limit that access whenever you wish
